Tada!

Last week Colin got his flu shot. He did absolutely fabulous at the doctor's office...no crying or anything. As we were driving home we told me that "he feels better now and now he won't get sick." I thought that was pretty funny. On our way out the door from the doctor's office he picked up some stickers. When he got home he decided to stick all of them to his shirt. In this photo he screamed "TADA" and struck a pose. What a silly boy!

Dog Tags

Brian got Colin a set of his dog tags to wear while he is gone. Colin likes to wear them around the house from time to time. I think he thinks he is pretty cool when he has them on. In one of the photos he is checking himself out in the mirror of the wine cooler. I think he likes what he sees!

Little Cowboy

Last weekend Colin and I headed down south. I went to the OSU football game for my 10 year KD pledge class reunion. I can't believe it has been 10 years since I have been out of college....yikes!!! The reunion was great. The poor Beavers lost the game, but it was really nice to see everyone. Out of the 10 people who could make it to the game, 4 of us are pregant. Pretty fertile group I guess! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos while I was at the game. However, one of the girls posted a photo on my facebook page. Check it out if you are on facebook.

While I was at the game Colin spent the day at Papa and Grams Dukes' house. Of course he had lots of fun. We both spent the night at their house on saturday and then went home on sunday. Before we headed back north, Colin got to ride on their new ponies. He was a little apprehensive about getting on the ponies, but he did really well and I thnk he liked it. He later told me that the ponies were too big. I thought that was funny since they are just small little guys. Check out the video of him riding the ponies. It is pretty cute.

What a cutie!

Swimming Lessons

Colin started swimming lessons on saturday. It is a mommy and me class so I get in the water with him. He didn't cry at all during class, but he pretty much clung to me the entire time. There was a point during the class that he got to jump to me off the side of the pool. That he absolutely loved! Hopefully as the class goes on he will start to warm up to it and really enjoy it.

Nature Walk

Two days ago Colin and I found a garden snake at our neighbor's house. Since then we have been on the look out for it again. We have a nature trail only a few houses down from our house, so we decided to hunt for the snake there. The first night on the walk we did actually see another garden snake. Tonight when we went on the walk we didn't find the garden snake. Colin says to me "We didn't find the snake. Ah, son of a gun!" I'm sure we will go on many more nature walks, so hopefully we will find the snake again!

Sunriver!

Two weekends ago Colin, myself, my parents, Andria, Doug and Owen rented a house at Sunriver. This is the third year in a row we have rented a house over there. Colin and Owen get along great and have a wonderful time playing together.

While we were there we went to the High Desert Museum. The boys had a fun time checking out everything the museum had to offer. They especially enjoyed looking at the fish that were in the pond.

We were also able to hit the pool a few times during our trip. Once again Colin enjoyed jumping off the side of the pool into the arms of anyone who would catch him.

Another highlight of the trip for the boys is that they loved playing in the dirt. Every night they would go out back, play in the dirt and get so dirty that they would have to go straight to the bath once they came back into the house. I guess that is boys for you!

All in all the trip was great and a good time was had by all.
