Dad's Breakfast
Veteran's Day
For Veteran's Day we headed down to Albany to watch Brian in the Veteran's Day parade. I wasn't sure how Colin was going to do since he is not a fan of loud noises, but he did pretty good. The parade started out with hundreds of motorcycle riders, which Colin loved, so that got him interested in watching the rest of the parade. We didn't stay for the entire parade, but we did stay long enough to see Brian which was the most important part! We are all so very proud of him for his service to our country!

Rock Concert!
Halloween Highlights
For Halloween we went down to Andria and Doug's house and did trick-or-treating with them. My parents came over as well. Colin was Bob The Builder and Kendal was a bumblebee. Owen was a skateboarder and his friend Hunter was a bike rider who crashed. Everyone had a great time and we got more than enough candy. I have been eating most of it. Yikes! Probably want to slow down on that.
Pumpkin Carving
This was Colin's first year of carving pumpkins. He was probably old enough last year, but since Brian was in Iraq, I just skipped it. But since Brian is home this year, we decided to carve pumpkins! We picked out our pumpkins and started to carve them. Well, I should say Brian started to carve them. It was pretty funny. Kendal would have loved to get her hands on the pumpkin if we would have let her. Colin ran around and kept screaming "it's going to be scary!" He was very excited to have a scary pumpkin. When we asked him if he wanted to dig out the inside of the pumpkin he said "no, I'm just a little bit tired." So basically Brian carved a really cool pumpkin and we all watched. It was really fun and we can't wait for Brian, I mean us do to it again next year!!
