Papa and Grams Dukes had a special surprise for all the grandkids. We all met at Washington Square where they had their picture taken with Santa. Afterwards we headed to the Build A Bear store where Grams' niece Morgan works. Morgan helped everyone picked out a stuff animal, they were able to give it a bath and then pick out clothes for it. Colin picked out Alvin, from Alvin in the Chipmunks. He has never seen the cartoon or the movie, but that's what he wanted. We also picked out a bunny for the new baby. While the stuff animals were getting their stuffing, the machine was loud and it scared Colin. But after that was done, he really started to enjoy the process. He even gave Morgan a hug to show that there were no hard feelings from him being scared earlier on. All in all it was a really nice afternoon and the kids loved their Christmas surprise.

Imagination Movers
Colin, myself, Andria and Owen went to the Imagination Movers concert on December 11th. Both boys had a really good time....they were dancing in the aisles and singing. I actually have to say that I really enjoyed it to. The Imagination Movers really know how to rock! Afterwards Colin kept asking me "did I have a good time?" And I say "yes honey you did." Even a month later he still talks about the concert.

O' Christmas Tree
Next Heisman Candidate???
Colin loves watching football on TV. He is constantly requesting that we turn it on. He loves to act out the different plays that he sees during the game. It is really funny seeing him trying to kick the ball, throw the ball, run with the ball. A lot of the times he asks me to tackle him because that is what he sees happening during the game. I always tell him no that it is against the law for mommies to tackle their children. Here is a little sample of him practicing his skills.
The Wonderful Wiggles
One of Colin's favorite shows is The Wiggles. I personally could take it or leave it....however, he loves it. Whenever he watches one of their shows he is always up and dancing. Take a look at one of his performances.

Thanksgiving Fun
Colin and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We were able to spend the first part of the day with Dukes side of the family and the last part of the day with the Alderson side of the family. Now Colin did want any part of the dinners (which were fabulous), but he did have a ton of fun visiting with the family.

Colin's Gifts
During the baby shower Colin was taking his nap upstaris. He actually slept through the entire shower so he had no idea that we even had people over at our house. Both my neighbor Renni, my friend Kelli and her mom Debbie gave Colin gifts to open so he wouldn't feel left out. After everyone was gone and he woke up I had him open his gifts. He got some matchbox cars, a book and an adorable shirt that says "I'm the big brother." Even though he had no idea why he got them, he was pretty excited for his gifts.
