Sunriver

Over President's Day weekend, we rented a house at Sunriver with Andria, Doug and Owen. It was a really quick trip, but we had a lot of fun. The weather was gorgeous...tons of snow and blue skies! The kids had tons of fun playing in the snow!

Preschool Birthday Celebration

For Colin's preschool birthday celebration I brought in cupcakes and grapes for all the kids. After snack time I then stayed while they had play time and story time. It was so fun to see how Colin interacts with all of his classmates. They are all so cute together!

Colin Turns 4!

Colin turned 4 on February 17th and we had his birthday party on February 13th. In the past we always had a party with just family, but this year we thought we would invite some of Colin's friends to help him celebrate. Colin had a hotwheels theme birthday party at Pump It Up in Wilsonville. All the kids had an absolute blast jumping their little hearts out! I could barley get a picture of any of them since they were running around so darn fast! We had an hour of jumping and then a 1/2 hour of eating cake and opening presents. It was a perfect place to help Colin celebrate turning 4!

Children's Museum

At the end of January I decided to take the kids to the Children's Museum. Kendal had never been and it had been a long time since I have taken Colin there. Of course we started out at the train table....we were there quit a long time! We then headed to the main room where we spent a majority of our time at their new Vet play area. I'm sure we will be heading back there soon.

Bowling

Last month we took the kids bowling. Kendal of course was a litle to young to really enjoy it, but Colin was able to join in on the fun...eventually. In typical Colin fashion, since this was a new event, he didn't want to bowl at all. He wanted to go home. Brian and I continued to bowl just the two of us and during our second game, Colin finally turned around and decided that he wanted to try it. Once he tried it, he really liked it. We then bowled the entire third game with us. It was a fun family event and we will definitely go back.

Kendal's First Birthday!

Kendal turned one on January 17th. I know everyone says this, but seriously where did the year go? It just seems like yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital. To celebrate her turning one we had a family birthday party for her at our house. We also invited the Schreck family over since they are her godparents. We had her birthday party the day before her actual birthday on January 16th. That day was Great-Grandpa Dukes' actual birthday so we also celebrated his birthday as well. We had lots of yummy food, Kendal opened her presents (with a little help from mommy) and then we sang her Happy Birthday. We put a birthday hat on her, which she hated, so we took it off. She LOVED her cupcake! She dove right into it. It was a wonderful way to celebrate how blessed we are to have her as our little girl.
