Colin's First Day of School

After a little blogging hiatus, I've decided to start the school year off right and get back on the blogging train.  Hopefully I can keep it up!  Colin started his second year of preschool at Living Savior Preschool here in Tualatin.  This year he has two new teachers and about 3 kids that are in his class that were in his class last year.  His class has about 15 kids total, so there will be 12 new friends for him to meet this year.  For the first day the parents came with the kiddos and class was only about an hour.  Just an opportunity for the kids to get acquainted with their new teachers and classmates.  Colin was very excited for school to start and couldn't wait to get there.  Once we were there he jumped right into playing with the other kids and was having a great time.  Kendal came with us and enjoyed all the toys in the classroom as well.  Here's to another great year at Living Savior!

Colin wanted to decorate his bag in camouflage this year.  Loves to be like Daddy!

Family Photo Shoot

At the end of March, we braved the weather and had a family photo shoot taken at a local park in Lake Oswego. Lucky it didn't rain on us while we were there. Kendal wasn't very smiley, but we were still able to get some nice photos of her. Colin did great! At first he tried to claim that "his smile was broken", but then he warmed up. The photos turned out great and we are so glad we had them taken.

So you think you can dance???

The other day I was able to catch Colin on film performing a tap dance routine. Now I took tap dance lessons for 5 years when I was young, so maybe he will follow in my footsteps. Enjoy his performance!

She's a climber!

Well folks we have a climber on our hands. Colin was very active when he was a toddler, but I don't remember him climbing much. Kendal LOVES to climb!! She sees an opportunity she will take it! Wish us luck!

Park Fun

We had some good weather back in March, so I decided to take the kids to the park. Of course Colin loves the park and Kendal was starting to get the hang of it herself. She really enjoyed the swings, liked playing in the sand (after she got use to the feeling underneath her feet) and loved the slide. I didn't get any photos of her going down the slide because I couldn't help her with the slide and still take pictures. One of these days I will capture the moment.

First Time Coloring!

Back in March we started letting Kendal color. She kept seeing Colin color and she wanted to get in on the fun. In typical toddler fashion, she would color and then try to eat the crayons. It will be fun to see what masterpieces Kendal makes!
