Ever since Colin has started getting his haircut we have always taken him to Little Clippers. This is a hair salon that caters to kids. They get to sit in cool seats, watch videos and get balloons after they are done. It costs around $15 for a haircut. Well we thought we would try to save ourselves some money and have Brian cut Colin's hair. We set up a haircutting station out in the garage and turned on a John Deer video that he watched on the computer. Colin was a little apprehensive at first, but after John Deer video got going, he was just fine. Brian did a great job cutting his hair and from now we will skip the salon and head out to the garage.

Family Walk
Father's Day
I'm a little bit behind on my posting, so I thought I better get everyone caught up. For Father's Day we hosted a bbq at our house. We had both sides of the family over for the event. Brian and Colin worked hard getting the yard in tip top shape. Colin was a big help laying bark dust around the house. The weather ended up being pretty cool, so no one ate outside, but everything still looked really nice. It was a really fun day and we hope to make it an annual event.

Lounging with Daddy
Strawberry Festival
Last weekend we headed down to Lebanon for the Strawberry Festival. On friday we spent the night at Brian's parent's house. Colin and Kendal's second cousins, Alexis and Jayden were also spending the night. Colin had a great time playing with Jayden who is only one year older than him. They took a bath together and then all three of them wanted to sleep in the same room. Eventually I moved Colin to his own room in an effort to get him to sleep since it was already 10pm .
On saturday we headed to the parade. This was not only Colin and Kendal's first time at the parade, but it was my first time as well. The parade lasted for about 2 hours. As in all parades there were some good floats and then there were some really random floats. Colin was not a big fan of any of the loud noises, so we didn't stay for the whole parade. After the parade we then headed back to Brian's parent's house for a bbq with everyone. Colin had a great time playing with all his cousins (Logann, Peyton and Raegan) and was very exhausted by the end of the day.
On saturday night we then headed to my parent's house in Albany. I didn't get to many pictures while we were there. Just a few of Kendal playing on the floor. But as always we had a wonderful time and the kids really enjoyed being able to spend time with both sets of their grandparents.
